Vargo is hiring for a dynamic asset finance funder offering hire purchase and leasing services to SMEs across the UK. This role will address the rising demand for asset finance from SMEs and brokers in the South Wales and Southwest regions.

Base pay range

Job Title: Business Development Manager (Asset Finance)
Salary: Up to £45k + car allowance + uncapped monthly commission
Location: South Wales

Responsibilities

  • Generate leads through your introducer network
  • Structure and agree on initial facility terms
  • Submit facility proposals to underwriters
  • Attend client meetings for document signing
  • Coordinate with operations to ensure a smooth onboarding process
  • Present a professional first-line impression to external stakeholders
  • Operate effectively from day one with minimal supervision

Qualifications

  • Several years’ experience within the asset finance sector
  • Established broker relationships and a strong understanding of industrial equipment and vehicles
  • Target-driven with strong planning skills and the ability to manage high activity levels and engagement strategies
