Vargo is recruiting on behalf of a growing and ambitious asset finance brokerage seeking an experienced Asset Finance Broker to join its expanding team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven professional to become part of a business at a key stage of its growth.
Working closely with the leadership team, you will play an important role in driving business development, building introducer relationships, and contributing to the continued success of the organisation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing client and introducer relationships, and overseeing transactions from initial enquiry through to payout.
This role would suit someone who enjoys developing long-term partnerships and delivering outstanding outcomes for customers and funding partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, introducers, and funding partners.
- Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and business development activity.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial enquiry through to proposal, approval, and payout.
- Identify suitable funding solutions for clients across a wide range of asset finance products.
- Build and grow a portfolio of profitable business.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and lending partners to achieve successful outcomes.
- Maintain a high level of customer service throughout the funding process.
- Represent the business at meetings and industry events across the Bristol and Bath region.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience within the Asset Finance sector.
- Strong sales and business development background with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
- Demonstrated ability to write profitable and sustainable business.
- Experience managing transactions from enquiry through to completion.
- Established introducer relationships and industry contacts would be advantageous.
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, commercially minded, and capable of working independently.
- A desire to contribute to the growth and long-term success of a developing business.
