We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical X-ray Systems Test Engineer to support the design, development, and validation of X-ray industrial imaging systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and documenting tests on both hardware and software components of X-ray systems, ensuring performance, safety, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Job Description
- Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test procedures for X-ray systems.
- Conduct system-level testing of imaging systems including calibration, image quality evaluation, radiation safety, and functional verification.
- Operate X-ray equipment in a lab or field environment, adhering strictly to radiation safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with R&D, hardware, software, and regulatory teams to resolve issues and improve system performance.
- Analyse test data, document results, and generate detailed test reports.
- Develop and maintain automated test tools and scripts as needed.
- Validate compliance with applicable standards.
- Support root cause analysis for product failures and contribute to corrective actions.
- Assist in verification and validation (V&V) activities as part of product development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
- 2–5 years of experience in system-level testing, preferably with X-ray or other imaging systems.
