A welcoming and ambitious company based near Wimborne in Dorset is recruiting for a part-time Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant to join the company at this exciting time of growth and development. The newly created role reports to a Part-Time Financial Director and, within a small team, you will be responsible for the company’s accounts. The job is newly created due to continued growth and will interest an experienced financial administrator looking for part-time hours but within an ambitious setting.
As the Accounts Assistant your job purpose will be to provide accurate finance support to the business and stakeholders:
- Management of the daily finance duties
- Introducing finance best practices, controls and procedures
- Liaison with the accountants
- Dealing with suppliers and query handling
- Supporting the month end process to TB level
- Purchase ledger duties and expense processing
- Management of the company credit card accounts
- Evaluating and optimizing financial controls and procedures
- Updating finance records daily
- Key accounts reconciliations
