Vardey Recruitment have been retained to recruit a newly qualified accountant, or CIMA/ACCA Finalist to join our client, a high growth, entrepreneurial and professional services business based in Central Bournemouth, Dorset. We are searching for a career hungry Management Accountant, who is keen to progress within the company, as the business continues to grow over the next few years.
Job Highlights
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Responsible for the Fixed Asset Register.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports for senior management.
- Monitor and analyse variances between actual and budgeted figures, providing insights and recommendations.
- FP&A – Performance reporting: Analyse and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business performance.
- Forecasting and modelling: Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting and scenario analysis.
- Prepare 'what if' analysis to evaluate potential business decisions and their impact on financial performance.
Role Interest
- Newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or late stages of studies ideally finalist to newly qualified.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
