Varang Recruitment are currently recruiting for carehome Chef/ Cook for our care home clients based in Slough and surrounding areas.

Head Chef duties:
* Menu development – tailor menus around residents and to ensure we deliver person centred hospitality
* Work with fresh produce to deliver high quality and wholesome dishes cooked at the highest quality and standards
* Help create a warm, efficient and fun environment
* Work within budgets
* Help to complete regular audits
* Help manage stock control
* To help lead, motivate, inspire and develop a team
Head Chef experience and qualifications:
* Qualifications within Catering/Food Safety & Hygiene
* Experience working as a chef/ cook in a similar setting
* Experience working in a busy kitchen xiskglj environment
* Good understanding of nutrition and specialist diets
* Experience working with fresh seasonal food
* Good understanding of food safety
