Looking for a hands-on job where every day is different?
Vapor Clean is a growing, family-run business, and we’re looking for a Waste Removal Team Member to join our friendly team.
This is a hands-on, active role where you’ll work alongside our Waste Removal Operative, travelling to customer properties and helping with waste removal, loading and unloading, property clearances and cleaning work.
You don’t need previous waste removal or cleaning experience. What’s most important to us is that you’re reliable, hardworking, physically fit and happy getting stuck in. Full training will be provided.
You’ll be part of a two-person team, helping make sure jobs are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
What will you be doing?
You’ll work alongside the driver/operative throughout the day, helping with:
- Loading and unloading waste, furniture, equipment and materials
- Carrying and moving items from customer properties
- Helping with house clearances and waste removal jobs
- Keeping the van clean, tidy and organised
- Assisting with loading waste safely and efficiently
- Helping the driver navigate between customer sites and disposal facilities
- Assisting with the safe unloading of waste at authorised disposal facilities
- Helping with basic cleaning and property clearances
- Using cleaning equipment and products safely following training
- Helping prepare equipment and materials for each job
- Working as part of a two-person team to complete jobs efficiently
- Providing friendly and professional service to customers
- Following company health & safety procedures
No two days are exactly the same. One day you could be helping clear a property, another day loading waste, and another helping with a deep-cleaning job.
This is a physical job
This role involves lifting, carrying, loading and unloading, sometimes in challenging environments.

Previous waste removal, cleaning, warehouse, removals, construction or other hands-on experience is useful but NOT essential.
Do I need a driving licence?
A full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential for this role.
You’ll primarily be working as the Driver’s Mate / Team Member, alongside our driver/operative.

Working Hours
Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Friday: 8:00am - 12:30pm
Weekend: One Saturday or Sunday per month on a rota.
Sunday shifts are paid at double time.
40 hours per week.
