Warehouse stock movements are a vital part of our supply chain.

Working as part of a busy team, the FLT (Narrow Aisle Flexi) Driver/Warehouse Operative will be responsible for the daily stock movements throughout the Distribution Centre, via the use of an Pivot Steer Struck FLT.

Other general warehouse operative duties will also be applicable to this role.

Hours

Saturday and Sunday 06:00 - 14:00. This is contracted hours of 15 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving and replenishment of stock to and from bulk and pick face locations, using a Pivot Steer Forklift Truck.
  • In addition to the use of the FLT, daily manual handling of potentially large/heavy items is also a requirement.
  • Maintaining stock movements throughout the DC via our internal WMS.
  • Assisting with our stock control team with counts, investigations, warehouse layout and optimization.
  • General warehouse duties such as, but not limited to, container and pallet decanting, pallet building and wrapping, order picking etc.
  • General warehouse housekeeping duties.

Qualifications & Experience

An accredited and valid Flexi Pivot Steer FLT licence is essential.

A minimum of 12 months experience using a Flexi Pivot Steer FLT in a warehouse environment is essential.

  • An accredited and valid Counter Balance FLT licence is beneficial but not essential.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment with high volumes.
  • Self-Starter and proactive, able to work both autonomously as well as part of a team.
  • Intermediate computer knowledge is required for capturing stock movements systemically.
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Analytical experience and an eye for detail.

A heightened sense of Health and Safety in the workplace is essential.
