We’re looking for a high-impact Marketing & Communications Director to lead global marketing for our International Government business. Reporting directly to the General Manager, International Government, this is a strategic leadership role for someone who understands defense, intelligence, and government ecosystems—and knows how to translate complex capabilities into compelling, mission-driven narratives that drive growth.
Responsibilities
- Own global marketing strategy and execution for our international government business—aligning closely with regional sales and leadership teams.
- Drive demand and influence across global defense and government stakeholders through targeted campaigns and positioning.
- Shape our voice in the market: crafting clear, differentiated messaging for complex, high-tech solutions.
- Develop full-funnel campaigns, with a focus on mid to bottom funnel ... e.g., lead gen, ABM, nurture campaigns, to fuel the pipeline across the regions.
- Develop executive communications: creating talking points and supporting the General Manager and other senior leaders for high-profile international events and engagements.
- Lead high-impact events and engagements (tradeshows, thought leadership, industry partnerships).
- Partner cross-functionally across corporate communications, USG & Enterprise marketing, and product to ensure consistency and scale.
- Deliver measurable results using KPIs and insights to continuously optimize performance.
- Lead and develop a globally distributed team, including direct management of an international marketing team member.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience in global marketing within defense, government, or high-tech sectors.
- Strong strategic mindset with the ability to execute hands‑on.
- Exceptional communicator - able to simplify complex technologies into clear, compelling stories.
- Demonstrated understanding of AI, with clear experience leveraging and integrating AI into broad marketing workflows.
- Deep understanding of international government landscapes and buying dynamics.
- Experience working closely with sales and business development teams to drive pipeline and growth.
- Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, international environment with up to 25–40% travel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within the Earth Imagery, GEOINT markets highly desired.
- Multi‑lingual with communication skills in English and other languages.
