In the UK & Ireland, this role is critical to turning that mission into meaningful market impact. We’re seeking a results-driven Marketing Manager to lead market development and brand strategy across the UKI region. This is a high-visibility role with real ownership—where you’ll translate global strategy into focused regional execution, accelerating revenue growth, market share, and long-term positioning of our PD portfolio.
Working in close partnership with Sales, Clinical, Medical, GAMA, Customer Service, Technical Services, and Sales Operations, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering short- and mid-term commercial objectives in a complex, fast-evolving healthcare environment.
The position offers remote working arrangements within the UKI.
What You’ll Do
- Own and manage the UKI marketing budget, ensuring disciplined allocation and strong ROI.
- Develop and execute integrated marketing and operational plans aligned to commercial priorities and financial targets.
- Convert market insights, customer needs, and financial data into clear positioning, value propositions, and growth strategies.
- Define and deliver qualitative and quantitative portfolio objectives, forming the backbone of the annual business plan.
- Localise global campaigns and product launches to reflect regional regulatory, clinical, and market realities.
- Lead geographical expansion initiatives (GEOX) where applicable, grounded in market intelligence and competitive analysis.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution
- Lead and coordinate the UKI PD cross-functional brand team, ensuring clarity, alignment, and pace.
- Partner closely with Sales and Clinical teams to design and execute tactical growth plans in this strategically important region.
- Own the development and deployment of sales enablement and clinical education tools and collateral.
- Track portfolio performance and competitive dynamics, delivering clear insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Customer, KOL & Event Engagement
- Build and sustain trusted relationships with key customers, KOLs, and advocacy groups.
- Lead end-to-end event strategy and execution, including local and regional conferences, sponsorships, and partnerships.
- Develop localized medical education initiatives in collaboration with Medical and GAMA teams.
- Represent Vantive externally, strengthening brand credibility and market presence.
Global & Regional Collaboration
- Work closely with NWE, EMEA, and Global teams to ensure strategic alignment and secure support for UKI priorities.
- Partner with Sales on joint financial planning, aligning growth ambitions, portfolio mix, and market opportunities.
About You
- You’re a strategic, commercially minded marketer with the credibility and confidence to lead in a complex healthcare environment.
- Significant experience in Marketing / Product Management, Commercial roles, or Strategy Consulting within Pharma or MedTech.
- Strong capability in market analysis, competitive assessment, and customer insight generation, translating data into actionable plans.
- Proven success building commercial and project-based business cases that drive growth.
- Deep understanding of customer needs—both functional and emotional—with hands-on experience in segmentation, targeting, and positioning to deliver ROI.
- Experience managing marketing budgets, agencies, contracts, sponsorships, and conference partnerships.
- Solid knowledge of the UKI healthcare landscape, including healthcare systems, reimbursement pathways, and political or regulatory considerations.
- Confident, credible communicator with a track record of influencing KOLs, senior leaders, sales teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker who can translate global strategy into high-quality regional execution, while challenging the status quo with innovative solutions.
- Solution-oriented, agile, and entrepreneurial—comfortable operating autonomously and managing changing priorities.
- Willing to travel across UK & Ireland (up to 40%), with occasional travel to the EU; flexible and remote working supported.
- Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Pharmacy, Nursing, or equivalent); Master’s degree preferred, ideally in Marketing or with a postgraduate marketing qualification.
- Nice to have: Advanced experience in digital and social marketing, including paid campaigns, KPI tracking, and performance optimisation.
