The Warehouse Operator supports daily operational activities across the warehouse, including goods movement, stock control, GMP compliance, and safe operation of material-handling equipment. The role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within rotating shift patterns.
Key Responsibilities- Operate Reach, Flexi, and Powered Pedestrian Trucks safely and efficiently (RTITB accreditation desirable).
- Load and unload vehicles, ensuring accurate documentation and safe handling.
- Receive, inspect, and put away inbound deliveries.
- Conduct stock counts, cycle checks, and support resolution of stock variances.
- Raise purchase orders and receipt goods using relevant systems.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support routine reporting.
- Maintain warehouse GMP standards and ensure strong housekeeping practices.
- Comply with EHS, GMP, GDP, and internal corporate policies.
- Identify improvement opportunities related to safety, quality, or efficiency.
- Essential: Experience in warehouse operations.
- Ability to operate Reach, Flexi, or Powered Pedestrian Trucks.
- Strong attention to detail with good numeracy and literacy skills.
- IT proficiency, including MS Office applications.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Desirable: RTITB-accredited MHE licences.
- ERP or stock management system experience.
- Recognised safety qualification.
- Full UK driving licence.
