Independent Social Workers β Children's Assessments (Self-Employed/Associate)
We're expanding our network of experienced Independent Social Workers across England to support Local Authorities, Independent Fostering Agencies and Children's Services with a range of high-quality statutory and specialist assessments. If you're an experienced Children's Social Worker looking for flexible, well-supported assessment work, we'd love to hear from you.
Assessments include:
- Kinship Assessments
- Parenting Assessments
- PAMs Assessments
- Form F Assessments
- Special Guardianship Order (SGO) Assessments
- Connected Persons Assessments
- Viability Assessments
- Foster Carer Reviews
- Adoption Assessments
- Court-directed Assessments
What we're looking for:
- Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualifying experience within Children's Services
- Previous experience completing one or more of the above assessments independently
- Excellent report writing and analytical skills
- Ability to manage your own workload and meet agreed timescales
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Access to your own transport for community-based work (where required)
