The opportunity
We’re looking for a Financial Reporting Senior Consultant to join our growing Workiva practice. This is a delivery-led, client-facing role where you will own reporting workstreams or end-to-end implementations across financial reporting, regulatory compliance and transformation programmes. You’ll operate at the intersection of finance, data and technology - working directly with senior stakeholders to design and deliver scalable reporting solutions. Success in this role comes from strong ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment.
What you’ll be doing
- Own and deliver client engagements
- Own and lead Workiva engagements or workstreams end-to-end across financial reporting and compliance programmes
- Act as a primary contact for client stakeholders, including Finance and Reporting leads
- Drive delivery quality - on time, on budget, and to a high standard
- Lead workshops, requirements gathering sessions and solution walkthroughs
- Design and build reporting solutions
- Translate financial reporting requirements into structured, scalable solution designs
- Configure and optimise Workiva for reporting, controls and data integration
- Convert legacy spreadsheets and reporting packs into automated, controlled solutions
- Produce clear implementation documentation and model designs
- Drive technical delivery
- Lead testing cycles including UAT and deployment
- Support data integration, validation and migration activities
- Act as a subject matter expert for reporting architecture and best practice
- Support pre-sales, discovery and proposal development for new opportunities
- Ensure solutions are robust, auditable and aligned to regulatory requirements
- Lead and contribute to teams
- Provide technical oversight and guidance to junior consultants
- Contribute to internal capability building and best practice development
- Deliver high-quality client outputs (reports, models, documentation)
What we’re looking for

Experience
- 3–6 years’ experience in:
- Financial reporting / audit / finance transformation
- Consulting or technology implementation (preferred)
- Experience working with reporting tools (Workiva strongly preferred)
- Workiva certification (or working towards) is advantageous
- Background in accounting, finance, or related discipline
- ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent) preferred
