About VantagePoint

VantagePoint is a global finance transformation and technology consultancy helping organisations modernise the finance function through process improvement, data, and leading technology platforms. Founded in London, we’ve grown rapidly from a team of five to 100+ professionals across EMEA, North America and APAC in five years. We partner with CFOs to deliver complex transformation programmes - implementing and optimising market-leading technologies to drive control, transparency and insight. Our model combines deep finance expertise with strong technical delivery, enabling us to deliver practical outcomes and long-term client partnerships.

The opportunity

We are looking for a Consultant or Senior Consultant to support the continued growth of our GRC practice, with a focus on Workiva. This role sits at the intersection of finance advisory, technical implementation, risk and assurance and client delivery, supporting organisations in strengthening their governance, risk, and control environments. You’ll play a central role in delivery - leading implementations, owning workstreams and supporting advisory engagements. Success comes from combining GRC expertise with the ability to translate complex requirements into practical, high-value solutions.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead end-to-end GRC implementations or key workstreams
  • Act as a trusted partner to senior client stakeholders
  • Manage delivery performance - scope, timelines, budget and resourcing
  • Support the scoping and mobilisation of new engagements
  • Design scalable GRC solutions
  • Design and deliver high-quality GRC and Integrated Assurance solutions (Workiva-led)
  • Translate client requirements into clear, scalable solution designs
  • Provide clients with GRC best practice support to complement and enhance technology implementations
  • Act as the architectural SME on complex implementations
  • Produce high-quality documentation to support adoption
  • Contribute to innovation and internal IP
  • Deliver with impact
  • Lead or support data integration and migration activities
  • Own UAT, deployment and client training
  • Provide technical leadership across project teams
  • Lead workshops across technical and business audiences
  • Contribute to team development and delivery excellence

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for individuals who combine technical GRC expertise with strong stakeholder credibility and a pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset. You might currently be working as a GRC or Integrated Assurance Consultant, Finance Transformation Consultant with exposure to audit, risk or compliance, or an Internal Audit or SOX specialist moving into technology consulting.

Key attributes include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or Analytics (preferred)
  • Experience in consulting or implementation roles within audit, SOX or risk
  • Strong technical toolkit - Advanced Excel essential, SQL advantageous
  • Experience with GRC tooling, either through implementation delivery or day-to-day functional use
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complexity
  • Excellent communication skills - able to engage from analyst to CFO
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
  • Exposure to CFO-level transformation programmes
  • Fast growth, real responsibility early
  • Strong partner ecosystem (Workiva-led GRC growth)
  • Clear progression path

Our values

  • Thrive together - we win as one team
  • Take ownership - accountability for outcomes, not just tasks
  • Quality, every time - consistent, well-judged delivery
  • Be human, first - trust, empathy and respect
  • Speak with clarity - open, direct, low ego
  • Move with intent - decisive, reflective, always improving
