This is your chance to join a specialist tech company as an IT Support Engineer that works in data archiving and forensic storage solutions. You\’ll be supporting real clients, building lab-based test environments, and learning directly from the leadership team.
What you\’ll be doing as the IT support Engineer:
Supporting customers on the phone, via remote access, and occasionally on-site
Logging, triaging and resolving 1st and 2nd line technical issues
Configuring and testing storage devices, servers, and related hardware
Assisting with proof-of-concept solutions and lab setups for new projects
Working across platforms (Windows, macOS, Linux) and getting hands-on with backup and storage systems What you\’ll need as the IT Support Engineer:
1-3 years\’ experience in a 1st or 2nd line IT support role
Good working knowledge of desktop and server environments (Windows/macOS/Linux)
Enthusiasm to learn – especially around storage, backup, and networking
A UK driving licence (site visits happen now and then)
Willingness to go through security vetting (police background check) Nice to have (not dealbreakers):
Basic networking (TCP/IP), scripting or PowerShell
Familiarity with backup or storage systems (e.g. S3, HPe servers)
