As a Health And Safety Advisor, your role will include:

  • Providing practical and professional Health & Safety advice across diverse client portfolios
  • Developing and implementing tailored Health & Safety strategies for legal compliance
  • Supporting clients in building robust processes, procedures, and safe systems of work
  • Delivering ISO management standards, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, via consultancy, audits and training
  • Building strong relationships with new and existing clients to understand their needs and provide expert solutions
  • Collaborating with colleagues to share insight, knowledge and approaches
  • Supporting wider business development efforts to grow consultancy offerings
  • Identifying opportunities to develop new services aligned with industry needs
  • Playing a key role in company growth and contributing to strategic goals

To thrive as a Health And Safety Advisor, you'll bring:

  • Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., Chartered IOSH, Fellow IIRSM)
  • Relevant qualifications (NEBOSH/NVQ)
  • Strong working knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation and its application across sectors
  • Practical experience with CDM regulations, audits, risk assessments, and method statements
  • Familiarity with SHEQ management systems such as ISO 45001/14001/9001
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and delight clients
  • A proactive, confident approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • A personable, dynamic attitude with a strong sense of initiative and professionalism
