What you'll be doing as an HGV Technician:
- Performing routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on trucks and trailers
- Carrying out vehicle inspections, MOT preparation and presentation
- Diagnosing and repairing faults with a "Right First Time" approach
- Completing job cards and service sheets via online systems
- Prioritising workload to maximise efficiency and service standards
- Ensuring all work is carried out in a compliant, safe and timely manner
What we need from you:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in HGV Repair & Maintenance
- Minimum of 2 years' post-qualified experience working on HGVs and trailers
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- A full, valid UK driving licence
- Comfortable using online service systems - basic IT skills are useful
- Able to work independently and take ownership of tasks
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
What you'll receive in return:
- Annual salary from £69,800 basic + overtime @ 1.5 or 2 x hourly rate
- Night shift hours: 4 x 12 hour shifts Sunday Night - Thursday 6pm - 6am (48 hours per week)
