Senior Procurement & Supply Chain Manager - Performance Management initial 6 month contract £450-£650 per day, depending on experience and final IR35 determination.

- This is an excellent contract opportunity to lead the improvement of supplier performance processes across a major infrastructure organisation.
- Working as the key interface between procurement, operational teams and suppliers, you will develop the systems, tools and practices needed to improve value, compliance, transparency and continuous improvement throughout the supply chain.
- You will work across a complex matrix organisation, challenging traditional ways of working and embedding consistent supplier performance management across business units, sectors, projects and frameworks.
As Senior Procurement & Supply Chain Manager, you will
- Support the implementation of the Supplier Relationship Management framework and ensure effective supplier performance monitoring.
- Facilitate supplier performance reviews, corrective action plans and continuous improvement programmes.
- Own and enhance supplier performance processes, dashboards, reporting metrics, tools and systems.
- Identify opportunities for digitisation and automation, managing the existing Source Dogg platform and assessing potential future systems.
- Integrate sustainability, safety, risk and compliance criteria into supplier performance management.
- Partner with stakeholders to embed best practice and consistent processes across the organisation.
- Develop and deliver training, guidance and supporting materials to improve organisational capability.
- Provide supplier performance reporting and insight to senior leadership and executive teams. As the Senior Procurement and Supply Chain Manager you will have:
- At least five years' experience within procurement, supply chain or Supplier Relationship Management, with a strong focus on performance management.
- Experience developing supplier performance frameworks, dashboards, KPIs and reporting.
- Strong supplier and/or project management experience.
- Knowledge of digital procurement tools and technology-led process improvement.
- Excellent change management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong numerical, financial and data-analysis capabilities.
- The confidence to influence, challenge and communicate effectively at every level.
- The ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity while driving practical improvements.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Power Point.
- A relevant qualification or equivalent professional experience.
Experience within infrastructure, construction or another complex project-led environment would be advantageous.
CIPS, CPSM, CDMP or DAMA membership and experience with cloud-based procurement and supply chain platforms would also be beneficial.
