As Digital Marketing & Ecommerce Executive, you will be responsible for supporting and improving the company's websites and digital platforms, creating engaging online experiences and helping to drive traffic, enquiries and conversions. Working across multiple brands, you will be involved in everything from website content and SEO through to paid advertising, analytics and digital improvements.
What will you be doing as the Digital Marketing and Ecommerce Exec?
- Managing and updating website content, landing pages and product information, ensuring everything is accurate, engaging and up to date.
- Supporting the ongoing development and improvement of the company's websites, ensuring customers have a great online experience.
- Implementing SEO activity to improve website visibility and organic search performance.
- Supporting PPC campaigns, including Google Ads, and working alongside external digital marketing agencies.
- Monitoring website traffic, customer journeys, enquiries and conversion rates to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Using Google Analytics and other reporting tools to review digital performance and provide valuable insights.
- Supporting the development and testing of new website features, platform enhancements and digital projects.
- Working with CRM systems, online forms and lead capture tools to improve customer engagement.
- Collaborating with the wider marketing, sales, product and IT teams to ensure digital activity supports the company's commercial objectives.
We are looking for a Digital Marketing & Ecommerce Executive who enjoys working across different areas of digital marketing, is confident using digital platforms and has a genuine interest in improving online performance and has:
- At least 3 years' experience in digital marketing, ecommerce, website management or a similar digital role.
- Hands-on experience managing and updating websites using a content management system such as WordPress or similar.
- A good understanding of SEO, including keyword optimisation, metadata and improving website content for search engines.
- Experience supporting or managing PPC campaigns, including Google Ads.
- Confidence using Google Analytics, Google Search Console or similar reporting tools to monitor website and campaign performance.
- An understanding of how to improve website usability, customer journeys and conversion rates.
- Experience working with external agencies and collaborating with different teams.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to manage several projects at once.
- Experience working with ecommerce platforms, CRM systems, marketing automation or Optimizely would be advantageous, although not essential.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is proactive, commercially aware and enjoys learning. You will be comfortable getting involved in the day-to-day detail while also looking at the bigger picture and identifying ways to make things better.
