Analyst (Corporate Finance) for a dynamic and highly successful international Renewable Energy company. The Analyst (Investments) will work under the leadership of the Head of Structured Finance and support the Valuation and Financial planning initiatives of the company. This is a key role within the finance team focused on helping Vantage RE to deliver its growth agenda.

The successful candidate will have financial modelling experience, preferably gained in a corporate finance house, energy major, research unit or a financial institution. Some knowledge of renewable energy in particular would be an advantage. We welcome candidates with a university degree focused on financial or numerical analysis.

Responsibilities of this Role
  • Work closely with the Head of Structured Finance and the Corporate Finance manager to support IRR updates, Model Comparisons, Cash Yield analysis and growth model developments as well as other initiatives in the financial planning area.
  • Preparing complex financial analysis and models tailored to renewable energy assets.
  • Conducting sector and company research, quantitative analysis, company valuation and financial modelling.
  • Supporting the preparation of presentation material and presenting at a senior executive level.
  • Work closely with the broader Vantage RE and TNB teams to assess new markets and technologies, and to develop business case for investment.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Fluent in English.
  • At least 2 years of work experience in an analytical role.
  • Strong quantitative, numerical and analytical skills with a focus on financial modelling and accounting.
  • Recent and relevant Infrastructure and Utilities sector experience is a plus.
  • An understanding of complex transactions across M&A and Leveraged Finance.
  • Intellectual curiosity and creative problem solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects with different deal teams.
  • Highly organised, detail oriented and proactive.
  • Strong work ethics and desire to learn.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with specific ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely and defend their validity.
