We are currently supporting a leading Specialty Insurer undergoing a significant Finance Transformation Programme and are seeking an experienced Business Requirements Lead to join the Syndicate Reporting workstream. This is an excellent opportunity for a business-focused transformation professional with a strong background in both Insurance and Finance to play a pivotal role in shaping future-state reporting capabilities.

Working closely with business SMEs, finance stakeholders and technology teams, you will lead the definition of reporting requirements and help drive the delivery of automated reporting solutions using low-code technologies. We will consider exceptional Senior Consultants seeking a step up.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead requirements gathering activities across the Syndicate Reporting workstream.
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews to understand current-state processes, reporting requirements and business challenges.
  • Partner with Finance, Reporting and Insurance SMEs to define future-state reporting solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.
  • Produce high-quality business and functional design documentation.
  • Support the development of automated reporting solutions through close collaboration with technology teams.
  • Ensure reporting requirements align with finance processes, controls and regulatory obligations.
  • Communicate complex concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Drive consensus across business and technology teams to achieve programme objectives.
  • Support Agile delivery activities throughout the solution lifecycle.
Essential Experience
  • Strong experience working within the Insurance sector.
  • Demonstrable Finance domain knowledge, including finance processes, controls and reporting.
  • Experience delivering requirements analysis within finance transformation, reporting transformation or large-scale change programmes.
  • Proven ability to independently lead workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions.
  • Strong experience producing functional requirements, business specifications and design documentation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate business challenges into scalable, technology-enabled solutions.
  • Experience working across business and technology teams to deliver outcomes.
  • Comfortable operating within regulated environments.
Desirable Experience
  • Experience within the London Market, Specialty Insurance or Lloyd's market environment.
  • Exposure to Syndicate Reporting processes and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Experience supporting the delivery of low-code or reporting automation solutions.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and solution lifecycle management.
  • Experience operating within large-scale finance transformation programmes.
