We are supporting a leading insurance client on a large-scale core systems transformation and are looking to engage experienced Software Test Analysts with strong exposure to Guidewire or IDIT platforms. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the quality and success of a major transformation programme, working across policy, claims, and billing systems in a modernised insurance landscape. The role is based in London, with a hybrid working model, with occasional expensed travel to Europe.
As a Test Analyst, you will be responsible for designing and executing high-quality testing across multiple workstreams. You will work closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure that solutions meet business requirements and are delivered to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities- Design, execute, and maintain test cases across Guidewire (ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, BillingCenter) or IDIT
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios
- Identify, document, and track defects in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Support and contribute to test automation initiatives
- Work closely with development and business teams to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in software testing within the insurance sector
- Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire or IDIT (essential)
- Good understanding of insurance processes across Policy, Claims, and Billing
- Experience across multiple testing phases (SIT, UAT, E2E)
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience in test automation
- Knowledge of SQL and API testing
- ISTQB certification
