We are currently supporting a major infrastructure organization in the search for an experienced Procurement Manager to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional with strong experience across indirect spend categories to drive value, deliver savings opportunities and manage end‑to‑end procurement activity within a complex infrastructure environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead procurement activities across a range of indirect spend categories.
  • Analyse spend data and identify cost‑saving and value‑creation opportunities.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned to business objectives.
  • Run end‑to‑end procurement processes, including tendering and supplier selection.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and contracts with suppliers.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Ensure procurement activities are conducted in line with governance and compliance requirements.
  • Support the delivery of procurement projects within agreed timelines.

Essential Experience

  • Proven procurement experience within an infrastructure, engineering or asset‑intensive environment.

• Strong experience across indirect spend categories, including

  • Engineering Services
  • Facilities Management (FM)
  • IT and Technology
  • Demonstrable experience identifying and delivering cost‑saving initiatives.
  • Experience managing procurement procedures from sourcing through to contract award.
  • Strong supplier negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable Experience

  • Knowledge of and experience working within public sector procurement regulations.
  • Experience operating within regulated or publicly funded environments.
