About The Role

We are seeking high‑performing Risk Transformation Manager(s) to join a leading advisory team delivering complex, large‑scale change programmes across financial services.

This role is specifically focused on individuals who have hands‑on experience leading the delivery of risk transformation initiatives rather than purely BAU risk, audit, or compliance activity.

You will work closely with senior client stakeholders to design, implement, and embed enterprise risk frameworks, operating models, and control environments, driving meaningful business outcomes.

  • What You’ll Do
  • Lead end‑to‑end delivery of risk transformation programmes, including framework design, control optimisation, and operating model change.
  • Own and manage workstreams within large‑scale transformation programmes, delivering tangible outcomes rather than just analysis.

• Design and implement

  • Enterprise Risk Management frameworks.
  • Controls frameworks and remediation programmes.
  • Risk operating models and governance structures.
  • Translate regulatory requirements into pragmatic, business‑aligned solutions.
  • Use data, analytics, and technology to enhance risk insight and decision‑making.
  • Deliver clear, structured outputs for senior stakeholders (C‑suite / risk committees).
  • Contribute to client growth, including shaping proposals, solution design, and delivery approaches.
  • What We’re Looking For

Essential Experience

  • 6–10 years’ experience in financial services risk, consulting, or transformation roles.
  • Proven track record delivering risk transformation initiatives, such as:
  • Framework design and implementation.
  • Control improvement or remediation programmes.
  • Risk operating model changes.
  • Experience working in a consulting or client‑facing environment (e. g. consulting firm or internal transformation team).

• Demonstrated ability to

  • Lead workstreams.
  • Manage stakeholders at senior levels.
  • Deliver outcomes in complex programmes.
  • Highly Desirable
  • Experience in top‑tier consulting firms or tier 1 financial institutions.
  • Exposure to multiple risk domains (e. g. operational risk, financial risk, non‑financial risk).

• Strong data and analytical capability, including exposure to

  • Power BI, SQL, Python, or similar tools.
  • Risk reporting, dashboards, or automation initiatives.
  • Experience contributing to proposals, client development, or commercial activities.
  • We Are Not Looking For
  • Pure audit, assurance, or control testing profiles.
  • Candidates with only BAU risk/compliance experience.
  • Individuals without demonstrated delivery of transformation or change initiatives.
  • What Sets You Apart
  • Ownership of delivery (not just support) on transformation programmes.
  • Ability to bridge risk, business, and technology.
  • Strong commercial awareness and consulting mindset.
  • Experience delivering measurable impact (cost savings, control uplift, regulatory outcomes).
  • Confidence operating in ambiguous, high‑change environments.
  • What You’ll Gain
  • Exposure to high‑profile, complex transformation programmes.
  • Opportunity to work directly with senior client stakeholders.
  • A platform to accelerate your career at Manager level and beyond.
  • Opportunity to shape and influence future risk operating models across the industry.
