Role: Training Lead

Location: London, hybrid

Timelines: June - December 2026, with potential to extend into 2027

Vantage Point Global is supporting a major transformation programme within the insurance sector, and we are looking for an experienced Training Lead to shape and deliver the end-to-end training strategy for a complex business-critical change programme. This role will play a central part in supporting the successful adoption of a new ERP platform and Data Platform - specifically Workday and Snowflake - ensuring training is aligned to the client’s operating model, business processes, and wider organisational change.

What you will be doing:

  • Define and own the overall training strategy across ERP and Data Platform implementation activity.
  • Conduct training needs analysis and competency assessments across impacted user groups.
  • Design a role-based curriculum aligned to key processes, responsibilities, and system functionality.
  • Develop and govern training materials in partnership with delivery partners, including instructor-led training, virtual sessions, eLearning, user guides, and simulations.
  • Coordinate and deliver train-the-trainer, super-user, manager, and end-user training programmes.
  • Plan and execute training waves in line with UAT, readiness, and go-live milestones.
  • Work closely with Finance Systems Design, Data Platform Delivery, Operating Model, and Change and Comms leads to ensure a joined-up approach.
  • Ensure training content reflects configured business processes and agreed ways of working, rather than generic system functionality.
  • Measure training effectiveness and feed into readiness assessments, adoption reporting, and programme governance.
  • Define and support the post-go-live training and adoption approach.
  • Manage training support resources and help maintain momentum through delivery and hypercare.

What we are looking for:

  • Strong experience leading training workstreams on large-scale transformation programmes.
  • Exposure to Workday and Snowflake.
  • Proven track record in end-to-end training strategy, planning, curriculum design, and delivery.
  • Experience carrying out training needs analysis and translating findings into practical training plans.
  • Strong understanding of learning design principles and adult learning approaches.
  • Experience developing a range of training outputs, including ILT, virtual learning, eLearning, user guides, and simulations.
  • Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills, with the confidence to work across business, technology, and change teams.
  • Ability to drive training deliverables through governance, deadlines, and shifting programme priorities.
  • Experience measuring training effectiveness and supporting readiness and adoption activity.
  • Comfortable working in complex transformation environments with multiple workstreams and dependencies.
  • Insurance experience would be highly valuable.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience supporting Finance transformation, ERP implementation, or Data Platform change programmes.
  • Experience working in multi-vendor or consultancy-led delivery environments.
  • Background in organisational change, business readiness, or adoption planning.
