About The Role
Our client, a global financial services leader, is seeking a Business Management Analyst to join their Technology function. This role is central to ensuring governance, coordination, and operational efficiency across Technology. You’ll support leadership with day-to-day responsibilities, improve processes, and act as a trusted point of contact for the function. This is a varied and dynamic role, ideal for someone who thrives on responsibility, collaboration, and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to ad-hoc requests, delivering insights and information to support effective decision-making.
- Prepare meeting materials, capture actions, and track follow-ups to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date process documentation, driving improvements where required.
- Review and enhance existing business processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Act as the main point of contact for Technology queries and information requests.
- Support cost management by working with budget holders to review and challenge deal approvals.
- Track key operational activities, such as external resource usage and mandatory training compliance.
What You’ll Bring
Essential Skills & Experience
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within Financial Services Technology.
- Highly structured with the ability to prioritise and deliver under pressure.
- Strong ownership mindset—proactive, accountable, and results-oriented.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience working with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Analytical thinker with solid problem-solving skills.
- Adaptable and willing to learn new tools and approaches.
Preferred
- Experience with data analysis and reporting dashboards (e.g., Power BI).
- Previous experience in a business support role within financial services.
