New opportunity not to be missed! Vantage are looking for a Workshop Controller to join our team based in Toyota Wakefield. In return you will receive a competitive salary of up to £46,490.74 per annum including OTE Bonus and excellent benefits! This is a full-time role and typically you will be expected to work between 08:30am and 05:30pm Monday to Friday and alternate weekends on a rota basis.

About the Role

As Workshop Controller you will ensure the smooth daily operation of the workshop in order to maximize opportunities, prioritising workshop jobs to meet both our customer and company requirements, and assist in the workshop with general duties as and when required. You will identify the strengths of the Technicians to optimise efficiency ensuring that all booked jobs are completed on time. You will maintain customer relationships, communicating any Technical information for the work to be carried out. Manage the process management within the role - overseeing the ordering of parts and order picking. Liaising with other departments - Parts, Service, Technical - reporting any concerns to the Service Manager.

Our ideal Workshop Controller:

  • Be able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role
  • Hold a level 3 NVQ, or equivalent, in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and be able to demonstrate an ability to work on the latest technology
  • Manufacturer or Franchise experience desirable, including use of systems such as DMS, VOSA and manufacturer system
  • Be of smart appearance at all times and hold a full clean UK driving licence
