Vantage Education Partners is recruiting on behalf of a well-established nursery group in the Truro area. The Role
- Plan and lead engaging Forest School sessions
- Create hands-on, nature-based learning opportunities
- Encourage exploration, risk-taking and imaginative outdoor play
- Track children’s developmental progress and support individual needs
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health & safety
- Work collaboratively with the nursery team to create an inspiring outdoor environment
Requirements
- Level 3 Forest School Leader qualification and Level 3 (or above) Early Years qualification (essential)
- Experience working with young children (e.g. Nursery Practitioner, EY Practitioner, Forest School Assistant)
- Strong understanding of child development
- Passion for outdoor learning and nature-based education
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted standards
Enhanced DBS and Paediatric First Aid required (or willingness to obtain).
