Vantage Education Partners are working in partnership with an OFSTED Outstanding Secondary School in East London to recruit a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their highly successful SEND provision. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students both within mainstream classrooms and within a specialist ASD provision, helping young people to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

The Role
- Supporting students in mainstream lessons and small group interventions
- Working closely with teachers and SEND staff to deliver personalised support
- Promoting student confidence, independence and engagement in learning
- Supporting students with SEND, including autism and communication needs
- Assisting with classroom preparation, displays and learning resources
- Supporting positive behaviour and inclusion across the school environment
- Working collaboratively with staff, families and external professionals where required

The Ideal Candidate
- Hold NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent
- Have GCSE Grade C/Level 2 or above in English, Maths and Science
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Show patience, flexibility and a nurturing approach to supporting young people
Experience supporting students with SEND, autism or English as an Additional Language (EAL) would be highly desirable, although not essential.
