Our client is looking to appoint graduates who want to train to become qualified teachers, without the cost of additional student loans and with the added benefit of learning while you train.
Subjects they are currently looking to appoint are:
- Trainee Maths Teacher - Degrees in Maths, Physics, Engineering, Finance and Accounting are very well suited to those wanting to become a Maths Teacher.
- Trainee Science Teacher - Degrees in all Biology, Physics and Chemistry subjects would be suitable.
- Trainee Art Teacher - Degrees in Visual Arts, Fine Art, Art and Design are among the subjects that would be suitable.
This is a great opportunity to train for your QTS with a salary, no further student debt, making your teaching journey financially sustainable. You will be mentored by trained and qualified teachers with extensive experience in coaching trainees, and the school is well known for students who are motivated and have good behaviour during their lessons.
The Trainee Teacher programme will take a minimum of 24 months, after which you will undertake a 12-week assessment period to gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Once you have gained QTS you will be paid on the Main Teacher Pay Scale and have access to exciting career progression within the school.
