Vantage is seeking a Director, Electrical Engineering, EMEA to lead the MCE team responsible for design and engineering throughout the construction process.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a high‑performing electrical engineering team focused on data center critical infrastructure systems.
- Oversee schematic system design, specification development, submittal and design document review, installation oversight, commissioning and transition to operations.
- Act as single point of contact for internal departments and external partners, ensuring alignment across sales, customer solutions, finance, legal, HR and operations.
- Mentor, recruit and develop engineers, including onboarding standards for the EMEA region.
- Coordinate cross‑functional initiatives to shape the company’s long‑term vision, including continuous improvement, risk management and capital budgeting.
- Travel across the EMEA region up to 50% of the time to oversee projects, engage stakeholders and manage emergency response protocols.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
- 10–15 years experience in data‑center electrical engineering, with at least 10 years in a management role.
- Experience in EMEA construction markets; NA experience is a plus.
- Accredited engineering credentials preferred (Chartered / Professional Engineer).
- Proficiency with Revit, BIM and Navisworks; knowledge of critical cooling and power infrastructure.
- Strong communication skills, able to present technical information to executive management and external stakeholders.
