Vantage Automation Systems are responsible for the Design, Development & Delivery of the BMS/Automation Package within all VDC builds across the entire EMEA portfolio. We are seeking a skilled Automation Project Manager to lead and manage automation initiatives in the data centre industry. The ideal candidate will oversee the implementation of cutting-edge automation technologies to optimize operational efficiency, scalability, and reliability within data centre environments.

Essential Job Functions & Duties

  • Lead end-to-end project management for automation initiatives, from planning to execution and delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Oversee the integration of automation solutions, such as PLC, monitoring systems (SCADA), and AI-based technologies, into data centre operations.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and best practices.
  • Communicate project progress, challenges, and results to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in automation processes.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Data Center experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong Large Scale Construction Experience.
  • Working knowledge of automation systems in a mission critical environment.
  • Experience working on evaluating mission-critical infrastructure and operations.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively work with and present information to executive management, construction, operations, sales engineering and finance.
  • Travel required is expected to be 25 to 50% but may increase over time as the business evolves.
