Site Operations Department The Site Operations Department is responsible for the overall health of all mechanical and electrical systems, building maintenance, and performance of all data modules in our data centers.
This Site Operations team is the face of Vantage to our customers and the guarantee of business continuity and excellence of Operations of our campus as well as the performance of our customer installations.

Position Overview Reporting to the Campus Director, Site Operations, Facilities Project & Scheduling Manager responsible for planning and scheduling of maintenance and project activities on campus.
The role plays a key part in ensuring the delivery of Vantage services at site
Essential Job Functions Partnering with onsite and central teams, the FPS is responsible for the planning and delivery of all campus maintenance and projects supporting critical infrastructure and customers Act as the key contact for Customer Engagement and Delivery teams to ensure the quality execution of projects and the transparent communication of relevant maintenance activities Lead the campus in the application of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) asset related data and changes Work with all stakeholders to ensure the appropriate prioritization and communication of all campus planned activities.
Key Responsibilities / Duties
- Manage the flow of all maintenance work orders by working with Data Centre Operations teams and vendors.
- Be responsible for the planning and scheduling of resources and parts needed to perform maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with facility management in the development and maintenance of schedules and resource levelling by utilizing the site Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) program.
- Establish and maintain CMMS equipment files, parts inventory, equipment bill of materials, and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Manage and prioritize a portfolio of projects at a multiple building data centre site.
This includes intake, prioritization, and coordination of Project Schedules with other campus-related activities
- Manage project and portfolio experience with cross-functional communication, delegating tactical communication to the delivery team as applicable
- Manage individual maintenance and projects activities as required to support prioritizing workloads, as the portfolio necessitates to properly sequence activities for all site projects, regardless of size
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the retrofit team staffing model supports retrofit portfolio needs
- Represent site for programs, standards, and processes through holistic retrofit lifecycle
- Monitor risks and negative trends relative to optimized delivery of goals and collaborate with Delivery Project Managers to mitigate risks (Financial, Schedule, Safety, and Quality)
- Coordinate efforts of a project team including Project Controls, Safety, Quality Assurance/Control, Scheduling, Engineering and other cross functional partners to ensure successful delivery of projects
- Ensure execution of commissioning process leveraging Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) resources and commissioning agents as applicable
- Ensure execution of all document turnover including accurate record drawing, owners manuals, asset information, etc
- Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in technical field such as engineering or project management or equivalent with 3+ years’ experience
- Experience with third-party CMMS programs (e. g., Service Now) a plus
- Experience in planning and scheduling of maintenance activities, HVAC, and electrical.
- Ability to develop long-term strategic maintenance plans and forecasts.
- Ability to communicate with internal customers, external parties, and address any issues.
- Excellent collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards in facility management within the operations sector.
- Excellent planning and organization skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to lead and engage people in a fast-changing environment to achieve results through others.
- Ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, influencing and negotiating at the most senior levels
