I am looking for a capable and driven Project Manager with experience or knowledge of switchgear systems and a background in industrial sectors such as energy, power, or rail.

This role will support the successful delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day delivery of switchgear-related projects from initiation through to completion.

Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource coordination.

Work closely with engineering, procurement, and site teams to ensure project milestones are met.

Act as a key point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, maintaining strong working relationships.

Track project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.

Ensure compliance with health & safety standards, industry regulations, and company procedures.

Assist in managing project costs, variations, and documentation.

Prepare and deliver regular project status reports.

Support contract administration and change management processes.

Experience

Experience in a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager role within industrial sectors (energy, power, rail, or similar).

Working knowledge or exposure to switchgear systems (LV/MV/HV preferred).

Experience supporting or delivering engineering or infrastructure projects.

Strong organisational and coordination skills.

Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (or relevant experience).

Familiarity with project management methodologies (e. g., PRINCE2, PMP) is advantageous
