The Opportunity: We're looking for an experienced BMS Service Engineer to join a busy Data Centres Support Division. This is an onsite role, supporting mission-critical building management systems across multiple high-profile facilities. You'll be part of a large, employee-owned BMS company that values growth, collaboration, and staff wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventative maintenance and diagnostics on BMS equipment in line with service agreements.
- Produce detailed reports following PPM visits to meet KPI requirements.
- Maintain schedules and trackers of maintenance works for visibility.
- Carry out small repairs and remedial tasks.
- Perform routine inspections to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
- Respond to customer service calls for system failures.
- Document all service activities, including maintenance, repairs, and client interactions.
- Participate in an on-call rota for emergency or breakdown support.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience with Schneider EcoStruxure; experience with Tridium, Trend, IQVision, or ALC is advantageous (training available if required).
- Solid background in building controls and understanding of mechanical plant.
- Experience working in data centre environments desirable.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence and CSCS card (or equivalent).
- Comfortable travelling to sites within the region.
- PC literate.
