What will this person be doing?
The successful candidate will be working on a range of projects within water treatment and wastewater. They will be programming/designing SCADA systems for clients, FAT and SAT testing to ensure the systems are working proficiently after commissioning. They will also be aligning network communications, onsite commissioning which may mean being away from home from time to time.
Essential Skills:
- UK drivers license is essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Good team player with the ability to motivate and guide more junior Engineers
- Self starter, ability to work on projects independently when needed
- Mid or senior level but all with good work ethic and a problem-solving attitude
Assist with post project close out and evaluation. Produce all project documentation including FDS, detailed design specifications, I/O Schedule, Operator Manual to a high level of quality and professionalism. Perform customer witnessed testing of SCADA at a Client's premises. Develop and undertake internal testing of SCADA software. Develop the SCADA configuration to meet the requirements of the project as defined by the customer, FDS and/or other design requirements. Produce detailed design of the Geo/AVEVA SP SCADA software to assist with configuration tasks and activities. Produce Functional Design Specifications to meet project requirements, to define PLC and HMI/SCADA hardware and software configuration. Proven process SCADA within a relevant industry.
Desirable Skills:
- PLC/HMI coding experience would also be beneficial (Siemens or Rockwell)
- Knowledge of or experience with WinCC, FactoryTalk or Historian is desirable
