About the Role
A leading UK engineering and technology contractor is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding commercial team. You will work across technically complex projects in Building Management Systems (BMS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), Security, and Smart Building Technologies, supporting major projects valued up to £20 million.

What You'll Be Doing
- Commercial Leadership
- Manage full financial oversight of projects up to £20m.
- Prepare CVRs, cost forecasts, valuations, and change control documentation.
- Ensure compliance with commercial and contractual requirements.
- Oversee budgets, monitor milestone expenditure, and lead monthly commercial reporting.
- Conduct commercial reviews and validate labour productivity with delivery teams.
- Act as a key commercial point of contact for internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
- Provide strategic commercial insight and support decision-making.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
- Strong background delivering complex M&E / HVAC / MEP projects.
- Solid understanding of JCT contracts.
- Proactive, commercially astute, and committed to career development.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work full-time from a Central London office and attend project sites.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of sustainable building and smart energy solutions.
- Experience with ELVS or BMS packages.
- Previous exposure to the BMS industry.
