My client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their Welsh Water Framework team, delivering wastewater and clean water treatment projects across North Wales.
Job responsibilities:
- Managing projects through design, construction, commissioning and handover.
- Developing and maintaining project programmes.
- Managing project budgets, forecasts, risks and change control.
- Coordinating design teams, site teams and subcontractors.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements.
- Building strong relationships with Welsh Water and other project stakeholders.
- Supporting successful commissioning and asset handover.
- Providing regular project reporting and governance.
Essential experience:
- Experience delivering water, wastewater or civil engineering infrastructure projects.
- A strong understanding of construction delivery, particularly within operational environments.
- Experience managing project budgets, programmes and commercial performance.
- Knowledge of NEC contracts.
- Good understanding of CDM regulations and construction health and safety requirements.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and supply chain partners.
Candidate profile:
You’ll be someone who takes ownership, builds strong working relationships and is comfortable making decisions in a fast‑paced project environment.
