My client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their Welsh Water Framework team, delivering wastewater and clean water treatment projects across North Wales.

Job responsibilities:

  • Managing projects through design, construction, commissioning and handover.
  • Developing and maintaining project programmes.
  • Managing project budgets, forecasts, risks and change control.
  • Coordinating design teams, site teams and subcontractors.
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements.
  • Building strong relationships with Welsh Water and other project stakeholders.
  • Supporting successful commissioning and asset handover.
  • Providing regular project reporting and governance.

Essential experience:

  • Experience delivering water, wastewater or civil engineering infrastructure projects.
  • A strong understanding of construction delivery, particularly within operational environments.
  • Experience managing project budgets, programmes and commercial performance.
  • Knowledge of NEC contracts.
  • Good understanding of CDM regulations and construction health and safety requirements.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and supply chain partners.

Candidate profile:

You’ll be someone who takes ownership, builds strong working relationships and is comfortable making decisions in a fast‑paced project environment. You’ll be equally confident speaking with site teams, designers, operational staff and client representatives, and you’ll understand the importance of balancing safety, programme, quality and commercial performance.
