Vantage Consulting is recruiting for an experienced BMS Project Manager to join a leading Building Management Systems business delivering a wide range of projects across the North West. This is an excellent opportunity for a BMS Project Manager to take ownership of multiple projects from initial design through to completion, working with a highly experienced team on commercial, industrial and critical infrastructure projects.

The Role

  • Managing multiple BMS projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest technical standards.
  • Managing the full lifecycle of BMS projects from design through to final handover.
  • Overseeing project budgets, forecasting, procurement, variations and final accounts.
  • Producing and reviewing technical documentation, including control philosophies, I/O schedules and plant schematics.
  • Planning and coordinating commissioning activities and engineering resource.
  • Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams.
  • Attending site meetings and ensuring projects remain on programme.
  • Promoting a strong health and safety culture across all projects.
  • Supporting and mentoring engineers where required.

About You

  • Previous experience delivering Building Management System projects.
  • Strong knowledge of BMS controls, HVAC systems and building automation.
  • Experience managing project programmes, budgets and commercial performance.
  • The ability to interpret technical documentation and oversee engineering delivery.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of Trend or Tridium systems.
  • A proactive approach with strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
