A leading Building Management Systems specialist is currently seeking an experienced BMS Project Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to take ownership of high-value BMS projects across a range of commercial and industrial environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from initial contract award through to completion, commissioning, and final handover, ensuring delivery is achieved safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple BMS projects with values of up to £8 million from inception through to successful completion.
  • Oversee project programmes, procurement, budgets, variations, valuations and commercial performance.
  • Coordinate internal engineering teams, commissioning engineers, subcontractors and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants and M&E contractors, maintaining strong working relationships.
  • Review and manage technical documentation including control strategies, points schedules, panel designs and project submissions.
  • Support commissioning activities, client demonstrations and final handover processes.
  • Identify and resolve technical, commercial and programme-related issues to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in line with health & safety, quality and company standards.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure BMS systems are delivered to client expectations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience managing projects within the BMS / Building Controls industry.
  • Strong understanding of BMS systems, HVAC controls and commissioning processes.
  • Experience working with platforms such as Trend, Tridium, Schneider Electric or similar.
  • Previous experience managing large-scale BMS projects and complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, variations and project costs.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide is essential.

  • Salary of £60,000-£70,000
