Key Responsibilities
- Producing fabrication, refractory, and general arrangement drawings in accordance with BS8888 standards
- Reviewing and verifying engineering drawings created by team members
- Carrying out site surveys and supporting feasibility assessments
- Preparing and maintaining bills of materials (BOM)
- Liaising with suppliers and undertaking quality inspections where required
- Providing technical input and support to the sales team
- Assisting with fabrication cost estimation
Essential Requirements
- Proficiency in SolidWorks
- Minimum of 1 years experience in bespoke machinery design
- A valid UK driving licence
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Degree in Engineering or significant practical experience through engineering apprenticeships and design roles
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Practical workshop, fabrication, or shop-floor experience
- Familiarity with AutoCAD LT
- Experience working with refractory materials
