An established engineering and infrastructure specialist is looking for a technically capable Project Manager to deliver structured cabling and ICT infrastructure projects across data centre, industrial and commercial environments. This is a full lifecycle role, taking ownership from project planning through to installation, client management and successful handover. The business is experiencing sustained growth, offering excellent long-term career opportunities.
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (DOE)
Location: Manchester
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage structured cabling and connectivity infrastructure projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate project resources, subcontractors and installation teams.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Monitor commercial performance and project profitability.
- Oversee quality, compliance and health & safety throughout delivery.
- Support bid activities and collaborate with internal departments when required.
Essential Skills:
- Proven Project Management experience within structured cabling, ICT infrastructure or a similar technical environment.
- Experience delivering projects in data centres, industrial or commercial settings.
- Strong commercial and client management skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- CSCS Manager Card.
- Project Management qualification (APM or equivalent preferred).
- Security clearance or eligibility to obtain it would be advantageous.
