As their business continues to grow, they are looking for a motivated BMS Installer / Trainee BMS Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong electrical background who wants to develop into a fully qualified BMS Commissioning and Service Engineer.

The Role

You will play a key role in delivering BMS projects from start to finish, working alongside experienced engineers and gaining exposure to every stage of the project lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Electrical installation of BMS systems.
  • BMS Pre-commissioning Panel wiring and controller installation.
  • First and second fix works.
  • Strip-outs and system upgrades.
  • Cable containment and wiring.
  • Supporting commissioning activities.
  • Learning software modifications and fault finding.
  • Assisting with servicing and maintenance as your experience develops.

This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same, giving you the opportunity to develop valuable technical skills while working on a wide variety of commercial projects.

What We’re Looking For

My client is interested in people with the right attitude as much as the right experience. You will ideally have:

  • A background in electrical installation.
  • Experience with containment, wiring, control panels or similar electrical installation work.
  • A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to work on-site.
  • An ECS Card.
  • A full UK Driving Licence.
  • A positive attitude and genuine desire to build a long-term career in Building Management Systems.

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Good understanding of HVAC plant.
  • JIB Gold Electrician (or equivalent), or willingness to obtain.
