We are looking for a hands-on Electronics Technician to join a close-knit engineering team working on cutting-edge EV charge point technology. This is a technically varied role, you will own PCB fault-finding, rework, reprogramming, and product verification testing, while also contributing to the development of in-house test equipment. You will need to be equally at home working independently through a complex RMA queue as you are collaborating with design engineers on validation tasks. Key Responsibilities

  • PCB fault-finding, rework, and reprogramming
  • Processing RMAs - diagnose, categorise, repair, and document
  • Design verification and functional software testing
  • Assembly of prototypes, test harnesses, and jigs
  • Environmental, EMC, and ESD product testing
  • Interpreting software test logs and reporting findings
  • Supporting development of in-circuit and end-of-line test equipment
  • Integration testing between hardware devices and backend systems
  • Documenting test results to a high standard
  • Working with suppliers on outsourced test equipment specifications

What We’re Looking For

  • HNC/HND/BTEC Level 4 or above in a STEM-related subject (or equivalent experience)
  • Solid PCB experience - solder repair, cable harness assembly
