An established and highly respected engineering business is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join its growing team delivering industrial electrical, control systems, and automation projects across commercial and industrial environments. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to combine strong technical engineering expertise with long-term progression into project leadership and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with customers to develop engineering solutions
- Deliver and commission control systems and automation projects
- Produce electrical drawings and technical documentation
- Support fault finding and troubleshooting on existing systems
- Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and RAMS
- Complete project and compliance documentation
- Support site teams with technical expertise
- Carry out electrical isolations where required
- Manage and coordinate engineering project activities
Essential Experience & Skills
- Minimum 5 years' experience within engineering or manufacturing environments
- Relevant Electrical Engineering qualification
- Control systems, automation, and instrumentation experience
- Fault finding and repair of machine control systems
- Experience running or coordinating projects
- Ability to produce method statements and risk assessments
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Desirable Experience
- Control panel design/modification experience
- Electrical CAD drawing experience
- Control system design experience
Additional Information
- 40-hour working week (Monday-Friday)
