About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Design Engineer to join our dynamic and collaborative team based in Bradford. This is an exciting opportunity to work on industry-leading projects within a business that values innovation, teamwork, and professional development. You will play a key role in the design and development of fabrication solutions, working closely with fabricators, site installers, and project teams to deliver high-quality engineering designs. The successful candidate will have strong fabrication design experience, excellent communication skills, and a practical understanding of permanent access fabrications, pipework systems, and associated support structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed fabrication designs and engineering drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
- Design permanent access fabrications in accordance with WIMES 9.02 standards.
- Develop pipework, fittings, and associated support designs.
- Liaise with fabricators, site installation teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure designs are practical, compliant, and cost-effective.
- Support projects from concept through to manufacture and installation.
- Ensure designs meet relevant industry standards, specifications, and regulations.
