We are looking for an engaging and driven person to lead the cross functional HVDC team based in the United Kingdom. You will be part of the HVDC team and report to the Head of Engineering UK. This is an office-based role and the preferred location is Glasgow; however, consideration will be given for central Birmingham for a highly suitable candidate. Please note we are unable to provide visa support for this position.
How You’ll make an impact:
- Lead a team of engineers within the HVDC engineering team who are based out of 2 locations (Glasgow and Birmingham).
- Provide direction to the teams with technology, focus on safety, on-time delivery, quality, and margin improvement.
- Support the project deliverables ensuring the KPIs.
- Collaborate with the local and global management to align on the strategic and operational plans.
- Responsible for process adherence and quality assurance.
- Be a positive role model for your team and beyond by living Hitachi Energy's Leadership Pillars as a leader which means living our vision, working together, delivering promises, and developing people.
