Duration: 3 months
Location: Fully on-site
Rate: 20-30 per hour
Working Hours:
- Monday-Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
- Friday: 7:30am - 12:30pm
Overtime available for high-performing contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Dismantle and inspect electronic medical monitoring equipment used within hospital environments.
- Perform manual testing and fault investigation using a range of laboratory test equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and circuit diagrams.
- Test and troubleshoot analogue and digital electronic circuits, including Op-Amps and reference ICs.
- Accurately document test results and maintain traceability in accordance with ISO 9001 quality standards.
- Complete detailed testing procedures, with each unit taking approximately one hour to test.
- Ensure compliance with IPC standards and ESD procedures within EPA (Electrostatic Protected Area) environments.
- Support the wider engineering team with testing, diagnosis, and product verification activities.
Essential Skills
- Strong electronics background with hands-on testing experience.
- Experience using laboratory test equipment for manual electronic testing.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Knowledge of analogue and digital electronics.
- Experience working with operational amplifiers (Op-Amps) and reference ICs.
- Understanding of IPC standards.
