We are seeking an experienced Contract BMS Commissioning Engineer for a live project in Scotland, requiring immediate support. This role is well-suited to an engineer who is confident on-site and strong in hands-on commissioning rather than software or graphics development.
The Role
You will be responsible for commissioning a Siemens BMS installation where the software and graphics are already complete. The focus will be on validating the installation and ensuring systems are fully tested and operating as designed.
Key Responsibilities
- Point-to-point testing of BMS systems
- Checking and validating field devices, panels, and I/O
- Assisting with on-site commissioning and functional testing
- Fault finding and resolving commissioning issues
- Supporting final testing and handover documentation
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a BMS Commissioning Engineer
- Strong Siemens BMS background
- Hands-on experience with Siemens ABT Site / ABT Pro (ABT Live)
- Confident carrying out point-to-point testing and site-based commissioning
- Ability to work independently on live construction sites
Rates
Competitive day rate, dependent on experience and Siemens expertise.
Availability
Immediate or short-notice availability preferred. Site-based role in Scotland.
