An excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Contract Manager to join a global engineering organisation supporting the commercial delivery of long-term service and maintenance contracts across the UK and Ireland. You'll manage a portfolio of live contracts, providing both pre- and post-contract commercial support while working closely with Operations, Finance and Project teams to maximise commercial performance and minimise contractual risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the commercial delivery of approximately 10 live service and maintenance contracts.
- Provide both pre-contract and post-contract commercial support.
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements.
- Manage contract variations, claims, risk and compliance throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Support Project Managers and operational teams with commercial decision making.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers across the UK and Ireland.
- Ensure commercial governance is maintained across all service agreements.
- Identify opportunities to improve commercial performance and contract profitability.
The Ideal Candidate
- Strong commercial contract management experience within the UK.
- Background in Building Services, M&E, Building Automation, Controls, Utilities or another engineering environment.
- Good understanding of NEC and/or JCT contracts.
- Experience managing multiple contracts simultaneously.
- Excellent contract negotiation and drafting skills.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, Supply Chain Management or similar preferred.
- RICS, WCC or equivalent professional membership advantageous.
